He may have been knocked out by Nick Kyrgios at the Australian Open, but it turns out tennis champ Karen Khachanov has another Aussie connection.
Tennis fans canโt help but notice that the 23-year-old Russian sport star bears a striking resemblance to Australian actor and heartthrob, Liam Hemsworth.

This clearly isnโt the first time Khachanov has been compared to the 30-year-old Hunger Games star.
Back in February 2019 when Liamโs movie Isnโt It Romantic came out, the tennis ace shared a screenshot of Liam Hemsworthโs Instagram informing fans that he wouldnโt be able to attend the premiere as well as a second image of a split screen image of himself and Liam.
โIf I wasnโt dealing with my own health issues at the moment I would have been more than happy to fill in for you @liamhemsworth โฆ,โ Khachanov joked in the caption.
But bad news if you feel like sliding into Khachanovโs DMs- heโs been married to his wife Veronika Shkliaeva since 2016.
As for Liam, heโs still going strong with his new girlfriend Gabriella Brooks and was spotted on a recent romantic night out in Los Angeles.
โLiam feels comfortable with Gabriella,โ a source told US Weekly, adding, โHis family approves of her and really likes her, which is very important to him.โ

Liam celebrated his recent 30th birthday privately but spent the festive season surrounded by friends and family, including big brother Chris Hemsworth and sister-in-law Elsa Pataky.
In a snap shared by Elsa, Liam could be seen sitting at the table enjoying Christmas lunch with everyone, hat and sunnies adorned.
Who knows, we could be seeing Gabriella at the table for Christmas 2020โฆ
