The haunted house? Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting lived in Khloe and Lamar’s former digs

It’s the curious case of a cursed mansion that seems to have ended the relationships of Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom and now Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting.

Over the weekend The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco and tennis pro Ryan Sweeting announced they were separating after two years of marriage.

And although it’s been a tough year for love in Hollywood there was something eerily familiar about this divorce.

Kayley and Ryan were the picture perfect couple and seemed to be smitten with one another, but after they moved into Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s former love-nest in Tarzana, California last year things soon soured.

The $AUD7 million mansion boasts seven bedrooms, a gym and a stunning swimming pool – but eyebrows have been raised after both sets of couples who lived there have consequently broken up.

Coincidence or curse? The cursed mansion in Tarzana, California, was the former home to Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom – the pair filed for divorce in December, 2013. And just this weekend, the mansion’s latest residents Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting announced their split.

Before the reality heavyweights’ marriage broke down, the sprawling Californian estate was featured heavily on the pair’s spin-off show Khloe and Lamar and of course Keeping up with the Kardashians.

Ryan and Kaley moved into the stunning home in March 2014 and a year later – just like Khloe and Lamar – their marriage fell apart.

“Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage,” their rep announced in a statement, “they ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter.”

Khloe and Lamar officially signed their divorce papers in July this year.

“The few times Kaley and Ryan were out together recently, the tension was noticeable,” a source told People magazine.

“You could tell the honeymoon phase had ended. It seemed they were trying to work out their marriage by going on dates, but they both seemed miserable,” they added.

Whether or not the energy of the space they once called home had anything to do with it remains to be seen but either way, it’s a fascinating question.
