Justin Bieber is not happy with his fans.
He’s so mad that he just threw his microphone and stormed off stage in the middle of a concert because fans wouldn’t stop screaming.
The singer had tried several times in between songs to have a meaningful discussion with the hyped-up crowd about why he had called his tour Purpose but was frequently interrupted by loud, screaming voices of thousands of audience members.
At one stage he seemed downtrodden, and asked one of the fans if they’d rather come up there and speak instead.
“I’m just trying to engage with you all,” he said.
“I appreciate all the support, I appreciate love, I appreciate the kind things. But the screaming in these breaks has got to stop. Please and thank you,” he said.
“I don’t think it’s necessary when I’m trying to say something and you guys are screaming. I feel like I wanna connect with you.”
The 22-year-old continued, “The point of the no-screaming thing is that when I’m looking at you in the eyes you know that we’re actually having a moment and having a connection.”
Justin Bieber told his fans they suck. We’re not even kidding. Watch the moment in the video below. Post continues.
But as the crowd wouldn’t stop screaming, and some even started booing, Justin began walking to the back of the stage, throwing his mic before disappearing backstage.
After he’d taken a moment to cool off, he returned, looking somewhat dejected.
“We’re just going to do the music,” he said into the mic. “Obviously Manchester just can’t handle it, so let’s do the music.”
He’d previously addressed his screaming fans in a concert just days ago.
“Can you guys do me a favor? Can you guys just relax for about two seconds?” he said.
“I get it, I get it, but I’m like two feet away from you. And I can hear you. I appreciate all the love, it’s amazing. But can you show it in a different way? Screaming is just so obnoxious.”
“I don’t mind cutting the bulls–t because I don’t need to talk. I’m just trying to engage, but if you guys don’t want to do that, we can just play the music,” he said.
