Justin Bieber has likened himself to Princess Diana after he was involved in a minor car crash.
A photographer allegedly crashed into the back of his red Ferrari while chasing him through Los Angeles on Tuesday. No one was injured in the incident, but Justin’s car was left with some scratches.
Lashing out on Twitter, the 20-year-old singer called for laws to protect him from suffering the same fate as Princess Diana, who died in a car crash in Paris after being chased by paparazzi in 1997.
“There should be laws against what I just experienced. We should have learned from the death of Princess Diana… I don’t have a problem with Paparazzi but when they act recklessly they put us all in danger,” the young star tweeted.
The Baby singer was driving in West Hollywood when he noticed he was being followed by a photographer.
A source, who spoke to TMZ claims that the singer slammed on his breaks and the paparazzo rear-ended him.
This isn’t the first time Justin has been caught up in a driving incident. Just last week, the singer was given a stern warning by police in Beverly Hills for “putting other people’s safety in jeopardy” after he was captured on video illegally driving his three-wheeled motorcycle on the sidewalk to avoid traffic.
