This is my moment, and I have learned from experience that you cannot take anything in showbiz for granted.

This month, the 47-year-old fronts The Weekly’s July issue, opening up about her slow burning – and now blossoming – career, her real life house husband and learning not to take anything for granted.

Speaking about the weightloss which had everyone talking Morris tells The Weekly’s Bryce Corbett “I’ve never been in better shape, doll.”

“This is what a strict no-sugar, low carb diet and ten weeks in the jungle will do to you.”

Juggling a hosting gig in the jungle for I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here, filming Channel Nine’s House Husbands and delivering a stellar performance at the Logies, this year alone, Morris reveals “I sometimes come home tired and cranky because I have used up all my fabulous.”

But with a career 30 years in the making, Morris is enjoying her time in the spotlight telling The Weekly “you have to make hay while the sun shines.”

“This is my moment, and I have learned from experience that you cannot take anything in showbiz for granted.”

The July issue of The Australian Women’s Weekly is on sale on Thursday, June 25.
