For the first time since the news of his scandal (or multiple scandals, to be exact) broke, Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna, has spoken out about feeling like she was “in a nightmare”.
In a promo trailer for the upcoming TLC show, Jill & Jessa: Counting On, which will touch on the scandals, Anna, 27, opens up about the first time she heard about her husband’s infidelity.
“I was just like, ‘I’m gonna wake up and everything’s gonna be okay’,” said the mother of four.
“’And this really, this can’t be true’,” she said.
In the clip, she discusses the outcome of the events with her sisters-in-law, Jill and Jessa.
“Everybody makes their own decisions and everybody makes their own choices,” Jill said, “But they’re not the only ones that suffer the consequences.”
Earlier this year news broke that Josh Duggar, the eldest son of the Duggar’s family’s 19 children, had molested four of his sisters, and was exposed for using the cheating website Ashley Madison.
He has since checked into rehab for sex and pornography addiction.
Josh and Anna share four children together, Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus and Meredith.
