Josh Duggar has gotten himself into more hot water.
Reports last month revealed Josh Duggar, the eldest child of family The Duggars, had been investigated for the molestation of five underage girls, between 2002 and 2006. It was also revealed that four of the young girls were his sisters.
And despite the fact that those sisters have come forth and โforgivenโ him, it seems Duggar is not out of danger yet.
Various news publications have reported that the only non-family victim of Duggarโs molestation, a young woman who has not been named, is preparing to serve Duggar with a civil suit.
The young woman, who was reportedly molested by Duggar when she was a minor, has not previously come forth but it appears she is now preparing to sue Duggar for his actions.
Duggar has not faced criminal charges to date as his actions were only discovered after the statute of limitations had already expired.
But that may not be enough to save him.
In the state of Arkansas under Arkansas Code Annotated Section 16-56-130, victims can sue after a number of years by claiming that the abuse or assault has only just manifested emotionally, or had only recently been discovered.
โAny civil action based on sexual abuse which occurred when the injured person was a minor but is not discovered until after the injured person reaches the age of majority shall be brought within three (3) years from the time of discovery of the sexual abuse by the injured party,โ reads the code.
It has been speculated that it is on these grounds that the young woman will pursue legal action.
If a lawsuit of this type were to be filed, it would move to force Duggar and his familyโs action into the light.
During a trial process, both Duggar, his family, including his father and mother, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, and his family friends, would be forced to reveal details of his molestation, such as how long they knew about it, and what actions they took to prevent it or to report it.
In addition to this, the trial process would also verify Jim Bob and Michelleโs previous statements regarding when they found out about their sonโs actions, and what they did subsequently.
It has also been suggested that, if Jim Bob and Michelle were to have โcovered upโ their sonโs actions without taking the proper legal steps, they could too be sued for โcivil conspiracyโ.
At this stage, however, this remains speculatory.

Amidst Josh Duggarโs continuing molestation scandal, both the Hulu, and Foxtel have announced that they will be cancelling and pulling coverage of his familyโs TV show, 19 Kids and Counting, with network TLC rumoured to be considering cancellation.
Following reports of Duggarโs molestation, various supporters, advertisers and backers have slowly removed their advertising and support from both the TLC show and the family itself, prompting a call for the show to be axed.
The show, which has been running since 2008 (under names 17 Kids and Counting and 18 Kids and Counting), has been pulled from all network slots and scheduling but has not yet been officially โcancelledโ. There has not been any word so far on whether or not the show will be filmed or run in the future.
TLC released a statement, regarding the reports, saying: โEffective immediately, TLC has pulled all episodes of 19 Kids and Counting currently from the air.โ
โWe are deeply saddened and troubled by this heartbreaking situation,โ it continued, โAnd our thoughts and prayers are with the family and victims at this difficult time.โ
At the present stage, 33 out of 46 advertisers have pulled their branding from the show.

Josh, who is now a 27-year-old father of three (and who is expecting another child with wife, Anna Duggar), issued a public apology following the claims.
โTwelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends,โ read his statement, โI confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counselling.โ
However, the โcounsellingโ and โstepsโ referred to in his statement were revealed to be a 3-month โChristian Treatment Programโ, and a โstern talkโ from a former Arkansas state trooper, Joseph Hutchens, who has since been charged with child pornography and is currently serving 56 years in prison.
Since the release of this statement, however, Hutchens has made claims that he only counselled Duggar โbased on liesโ, explaining that, at the time, Joshโs father, Jim Bob, had told him it was only โone girlโ.
โJim Bob explained to me that Josh inappropriately touched [a victim] while she was asleep,โ Hutchens alleged in an interview to InTouch Magazine, โHe said it only happened one time.โ

But Josh Duggar was not the only one to release a statement. His parents, Jim Bob and Michelle also released their own, stating that Joshโs actions were โin the pastโ and that they would stand by him and continue to support him.
โBack 12 years ago our family went through one of the most difficult times of our lives. When Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes, and we were shocked,โ read the statement, โWe had tried to teach him right from wrong. That dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before.โ
Deciding not to pursue legal action over Joshโs crimes, it is understood Jim Bob and Michelle claimed that they โprayed for himโ instead.
However, this lenient stand on his actions does not appear to be in line with Jim Bobโs previous position on this topic.
During his unsuccessful run in the Arkansas Senate race in 2002, Jim Bob revealed that he was in favour of the death penalty for incest.
โIf a woman is raped, the rapist should be executed instead of the innocent unborn baby,โ said Duggar during Q&A session, โRape and incest represent heinous crimes and as such should be treated as capital crimes.โ

In addition to TLC, Foxtel and Huluโs withdraw of support, the Duggar family is also facing backlash from celebrities, politicians and fellow network members.
Today, during an interview with Good Morning America, presidential candidate and Duggar family friend, Rick Santorum, publically denounced his relationship with the family.
โI was sickened by it. I was just sickened by it,โ said Santorum, โI pray for those girls in particular.โ
The Duggars have previously campaigned with Santorum in his 2012 presidential run.
Santorumโs fellow Republican candidate, Mike Huckabee, was not so quick to denounce the family, however.
โJoshโs actions when he was an underage teen are as he described them himself, โinexcusable,โ but that doesnโt mean โunforgivable,'โ The current Arkansas Governor posted on Facebook, โHe and his family dealt with it and were honest and open about it with the victims and the authoritiesโฆNo purpose whatsoever is served by those who are now trying to discredit Josh or his family by sensationalizing the story. Good people make mistakes and do regrettable and even disgusting things.โ
Singer and actress, Bette Midler, also weighed in, saying that Josh Duggarโs actions were โironicโ.
โJosh Duggar resigned from an anti-gay โfamilyโ group due to molestation allegations,โ Midler tweeted, โKids, is there anything more delicious than irony?โ
Josh Duggar and his family have not made any statements since, but have made a bid for support from the public, asking for fans to โvoteโ for their show not to be cancelled.
