In October, Johnny told TV WEEK that Lynne has “been amazing,” he revealed: “She constantly checks in and asks how I’m doing. She always wants to go out for dinner.”
“I can’t stress enough how people like her help get through tough times. She’s just a wonderful person. Having people like that to say ‘Oh, how are you feeling this week?’ and little sweet things like that make all the difference. It’s a great support network.”
Johnny has accredited his strength during chemotherapy to his incredible support network, especially his beautiful girlfriend Tahnee Sims who he even labeled his partner “the foundation” of support.
“I’d be lost without her,” he gushed. “She’s just everything.”
“She comes home from work and she’s probably so tired and just wants to have a break, and then she has me. She wants to try and make me smile.
“I don’t know how she does it. I really don’t.”
Johnny has made a point of saying “we” when discussing his cancer battle and ongoing treatments, as Tahnee is also undergoing the process.
“I always say, ‘Oh yeah, we’ve got chemo this week’, ‘we’ve got treatment’, or ‘we’ve got an appointment’ about our cancer. I feel like she’s going through this just as much as I am. And she’s experiencing it just as much as I am. She’s been the most incredible support.”
