As reports roll in from all over the US about the details of Amber Heard’s divorce from megastar Johnny Depp, it’s been revealed that there may have been numerous hurdles to the couples’ romance.
One of the biggest allegations is that Johnny’s family were not Amber’s biggest fans… at all.
The relationship between his siblings, children, his mother and Amber was reportedly extremely bitter, and the group were in the middle of an explosive feud in the months before the shock split, according to TMZ.
The Alice Through The Looking Glass actor and his wife moved into his mother’s compound earlier this year, and that’s apparently when the fireworks started.
Things are reportedly already getting nasty between the pair.
Johnny’s mum Betty Sue, who passed away earlier this week, reportedly told friends she thought Amber was after her son’s fame and money, and was using the marriage as a career boost, sources told TMZ.
The outlet also reported that the Danish Girl actress had to have TWO sit down meetings with Betty Sue, in which the matriarch called her a “terrible person”.
The couple were once the picture of a loving husband and wife.
But since the report, more sources have come to the 30-year-old actress’s defense, stating Amber visited Johnny’s ailing mother in the weeks leading up to her death, and also managed her nurse’s schedules.
The sources told TMZ that these were not the actions of someone whose relationship with the family had broken down.

It’s also since emerged that the blonde beauty had cold feet on marrying her actor husband before the wedding.
Multiple sources close to the couple reveal she was having doubts…as early as the couple’s engagement party!
Amber was reportedly having second thoughts even at her engagement party.
“Before Amber met Johnny, she was just a regular, super-cool hipster chick living with roommates who dated girls,” an insider revealed to People magazine.
“At their engagement party she kind of got cold feel… she was just like ‘What is this, and what am I doing here? She kind of couldn’t believe this was her life now.”
The news comes off the back of the reports that this will already be an acrimonious divorce, with the Pirates of the Caribbean star seeking to deny Amber any spousal support.
It’s reported that Johnny told the judge the pair did not have a prenup in place.
