Johnny Depp has showed off his unusual wedding ring for the first time as a married man when he posed for photos with a band at the Foo Fighters’ Queensland gig.
Newlywed Johnny, 51, is already back hard at work filming in Australia after tying the knot with his new bride Amber Heard earlier this month.
After years of bachelordom and living in a long term de-facto relationship with his ex Vanessa Paradis declaring that he’d never get married, it seems Johnny is now more than happy to show off the symbol of his marriage.
Johnny posed with Gold Coast local band the Mad Hueys who shared the snaps on social media.
Johnny was photographed wearing what appeared to be an unusual black wedding band (true to his rebellious rock-star style) on his ring finger while backstage at the Brisbane gig of the Foo Fighters, who are currently touring down under.
Johnny, is currently in Australia filming the fifth instalment in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise: Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. It was reported that his new bride Amber, 28, would be flying out to join him so that they could enjoy something of a honeymoon down-under in the gaps between filming.
Epic sets have been constructed at Maudsland on the Gold Coast where the movie is being shot but Johnny obviously decided to take some downtime to head to Suncorp stadium along with thousands of other Foo Fighters fans.
True to his bohemian rock star style, Johnny was sporting a headscarf, plenty of jewellery and thick black eyeliner just like his on-screen Pirates counterpart, Jack Sparrow.
The film, said to be the largest and most ambitious ever shot in Australia was said to inject over $100 million into the Queensland’s state economy and create thousands of local jobs according to former Premier Campbell Newman. It’s expected to get a worldwide realise in July 2017.
