Johnny Depp reveals his “worries” over daughter Lily-Rose’s modelling career

He might be a proud papa, but that doesn't mean Johnny Depp doesn't have his fears over his daughter's burgeoning modelling career.

Since her introduction to the world of fashion, Lily-Rose Depp has modeled for everything from Chanel to Vogue Paris, but a recent interview has revealed that not everyone is loving her fast-tracked rise to fame.

Speaking to German magazine Gala this week, proud dad Johnny Depp opened up about his worries for 16-year-old Lily-Rose’s career.

“To be honest, I’m quite worried,” the actor divulged to the magazine, “I wasn’t expecting all this to happen to Lily-Rose, especially not at this age.”

But Johnny insists his fatherly worries won’t get in the way of what Lily-Rose wants.

“It’s her passion and she’s having fun,” the 52-year-old said, “She knows I’m always there for her.”

Alongside her modelling gigs, which have so far included a Chanel campaign and two spreads in Oyster Magazine and Vogue Paris, Lily-Rose is also set to star in three upcoming films, one co-starring with Natalie Portman and one with her old man, Johnny Depp.

But her switch to the stage shouldn’t come as a surprise! Lily-Rose is no rookie when it comes to acting.

The 16-year-old has already starred in two films, Tusk and The Yoga Hosers in 2014.
