The pair married in February after a private romance that began after they met on the set of 2011โ€™s The Rum Diary.

When asked by E! News to pick what he loves most about his new bride, the 52-year-old actor said he couldnโ€™t because she has โ€œfar too many amazing qualitiesโ€.

โ€œWe connect on a lot of levels,โ€ Johnny told the reporter at the LA premiere of Amberโ€™s new film The Danish Girl, mentioning that โ€œthe first things that really got me was sheโ€™s an aficionado of the blues.โ€

โ€œI would play a song, some old obscure blues song, and she knew what it was,โ€ he raved.

Johnny shared that Amber has worked โ€œvery hardโ€ on her new film The Danish Girl, saying that he was โ€œvery proudโ€ of her.

But that wasnโ€™t all the actor had to say about his wife. โ€œSheโ€™s very, very literate. Sheโ€™s a voracious reader as I have been so we connected on that level as well. And sheโ€™s kind of brilliant,โ€ he gushed, smiling as he finished the thought with โ€œIโ€™m a very lucky man.โ€

When asked about his wifeโ€™s new film, Johnny said that he was โ€œvery proudโ€ of her and that โ€œit looks like where she belongs.โ€

โ€œSheโ€™s worked very hard,โ€ he shared.

The film is set in the 1920s and tells the story of artist Lili Elbeโ€™s gender reassignment surgery, one of the first of such surgeries to occur.

โ€œI always felt like I was supposed to be in a different time, you know, and I kind of felt that way about her the first time I saw her. So it looks right and it looks perfect to me,โ€ Johnny concluded.
