Johnny Depp has decided to cut out the middle person and donate Amber Heardโs divorce settlement directly to charity.
But despite the actor praising Amberโs honorable intentions in a released statement, his ex-wife is reportedly not happy at all.
When the divorce was settled, Amber announced she would be donating the proceeds to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the Childrenโs Hospital of Los Angeles.
Johnny reportedly then donated the first installment directly to the organisations, in name of Amber Heard.
โMs. Heardโs generosity in giving to these wonderful causes is deeply respected,โ the actor said through a rep.

Johnny bypassed Amber, giving the cash straight to the charities.
But according to TMZ, the blonde bombshell is calling Johnny out over his intentions.
She claims he isnโt really donating the full $US7 million owed, because by giving the money to the charities, he will be able to make a sizable tax deduction.

Amber is not impressed by her exโs reportedly shifty intentions.
The 30-year-old apparently said the money was not his to give away.
The model released a damning statement: โIf Johnny wishes to change the settlement agreement, we must insist that he honor the full amount by donating $14M to charity, which after accounting for his tax deduction, is equal to his $7M payment obligation to Amber.โ

Amber now wants double the amount she settled for to make up for his actions.
Her people continue, โWe would also insist that the full amount be paid immediately and not drawn out over many years.โ
Amberโs legal team then had a go at the 53-year-old actorโs team, saying, โAnything less would be a transparent attempt by Johnnyโs counsel, Laura Wasser and Patti Glaser, to reduce their clientโs true payment by half under the guise of newfound concern for charities that he has never previously supported.โ
We thought this was all over! See the details of the settlement in the video below.
