She’s previously lamented that her busy acting career means she doesn’t have time to date.
But six months after quitting Neighbours, Jodi Gordon has found love again!
In a series of new photos obtained by the Daily Mail Australia, the 35-year-old has been pictured heading to church in Sydney on July 3 with her new boyfriend, known only as Cedric, and her six-year-old daughter Aleeia, who she shares with ex-husband and former NRL player Braith Anasta.
According to an insider, the mother-of-one is “happier than ever” after meeting the handsome Sydney businessman.
“She’s head over heels. They’ve been dating for a few months now, but things are still very early stages into their relationship,” the source explained to the Daily Mail Australia.
In the photos, the loved-up couple appear at ease in one another’s company as they pile into the car following the church service.
The former Home And Away star married Braith in 2012, before announcing their divorce at the end of 2015.
“We are going to continue to support each other and remain best of friends, we only want the best for each other and more importantly our amazing daughter Aleeia,” the pair said in a statement at the time.
In January, the brunette beauty made headlines after sensationally quitting her high-profile acting role on Neighbours to focus on her young daughter.
During her stint on Neighbours, Jodi balanced her time between Melbourne, where the show is filmed, and Sydney, where Aleeia’s father Braith lives.
“She’s in Melbourne for majority of the week so she comes back and it’s been like that for a long time, it’s pretty stock standard,” Braith, 38, told Now To Love.
“We’ve got that balance. It’s pretty standard, we just make sure that Aleeia’s got routine and has as good an upbringing as we possibly can.”
Since leaving the show, she’s now based in Sydney.
Opening up about her love life last year, Jodi previously admitted it’s hard to find time to date in between her acting commitments.
“I do date occasionally, but I find it really difficult between two cities, and when I’m in Sydney, I’m “mum,”‘ she admitted to the Daily Telegraph.
“It’s really hard to date, but I do find time occasionally,” Jodi added.
