“Happy Birthday to the most special person on earth. I love you to the moon and back,” Jodi, 31, gushed on Instagram, captioning a snap of herself kissing Aleeia.
Proud papa Braith, 34, also had a message for his girl: “Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul in the world… I love you to death my baby!! 2 already princess Aleeia.”
Four months into their “trial separation”, the parents are determined to put their two-year-old daughter first.
Both Jodi and Braith have shared their individual time with their darling girl on social media.
Just a few weeks ago, the Myer ambassador revealed of her mini-me, “She is now coordinating my shoes to her outfits …if only they fit!,” alongside a snap of Aleeia wearing her mum’s heels.
Meanwhile Braith seems to be tuckered out by the new single dad routine, uploading an adorable photo with his little princess.
“When your annoying dad is more tired than you…,” he captioned a shot of himself sleeping and his toddler looking on.
It is believed that part of the reason for the couple’s split was that former NRL player wanted more children, however Jodi wanted to pursue her acting career in the US.
“I wanted more kids and it wasn’t for her at that time in her life,” Braith revealed to the Telegraph earlier this year.
“Our break-up did not come out of the blue. We had both seen it coming for a while.”
Adding, “I think Jodi did sacrifice her career for me when we got married and I’m very grateful for that.”
The actress admitted she’s anxious to return to work, “I’ve always loved acting, it’s something I’ll be pursuing for the rest of my life and learning and growing, waiting for the right role,” she said during a chat on The Morning Show.
While Jodi may not want more kids right now, she’s clearly smitten with her little one.
“She’s very cheeky, she’s like completely animated, full of energy and she loves dancing.,” the proud mama gushed. “She out dances me in the living room so we have a lot of fun together, I’m very lucky.”
At the time of Braith and Jodi’s split, the pair said, “We are going to continue to support each other and remain best of friends, we only want the best for each other and more importantly our amazing daughter Aleeia.”
With their spokesman adding, “They have had challenges like all married couples and despite best efforts to make things work they have agreed that a trial separation is best for them and their precious daughter.”
Following the demise of his marriage, the sporting great admitted, “Aleeia is such a happy little girl, we don’t want that to change.”
By the looks of things, their little girl is as happy as can be!
