Meares, the ex-wife of James Packer, pleaded guilty to high-range drink driving in Waverley Local Court today.
Wearing a black pantsuit, the stunning brunette, who owns the sportswear label The Upside, arrived to the court five hours late as a large media pack waited outside.
Her lawyer, Chris Murphy, said Meares had suffered “extra-curial punishment” because of the media attention since the incident.
A NSW Police spokesman said Meares was driving on O’Sullivan Road at 9:35pm on Saturday, June 21, when she crashed into three parked cars and flipped her own. She later recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.181.
Meares is set to marry her fiancé, Jon Stevens, later this year.
