Rapper Drake was the victim of a massive jewellery heist.
According to Phoenix police, the thieves targeted a tour bus belonging to Drake and made off with jewels worth more than $3 million.
Authorities say the theft occurred at the Talking Stick Resort Arena, where both Drake and DJ Future the Prince were performing.
A suspect entered the bus between 10:00pm and 10:15pm before making off with a briefcase stuffed with the bling.
Police have confirmed the stolen items did not belong to the rapper himself, but were taken from his tour bus.
And Drake is NOT happy.
Drake was seen looking furious after the heist.
In a video taken shortly after the incident by TMZ, the 29-year-old can be seen storming off and looking furious.
The footage shows him stop and start gesturing animatedly, getting quite agitated while apparently discussing the robbery.
Detectives are reportedly reviewing security tapes to try to identify the culprit and the investigation is ongoing.
It took thieves just minutes to walk away with their loot.
And while the theft is understandably a cause of anger and distress for the One Dance hitmaker, Drake may have already found a way to make the stolen money back.
Earlier this week, the 29-year-old announced a new business venture in the shape of an upscale dance club called “The Ballet”.
“There’s a culture out there of dancing and it’s not about no strip club s—,” he told the crowd during a pop-up event held for the second annual Houston Appreciation Weekend.
“It’s about these amazing women that we’ve got in one spot, the music that we’ve got, and the Houston culture that we got. I just wanna let you know that I’m going to bring it to you in the most honest and genuine way possible.”
He later took to Instagram to explain the concept further.
“Tonight is a different take on how it should be done in Houston,” he captioned an illustration of ballet slippers.
“Treat yourself don’t cheat yourself. Where the women are on a pedestal and the surroundings are unforgettable. The Ballet pop up tonight for HAW. Grand opening early 2017.”
