Proving more is merrier, Jessica Simpson, 33, and fiance Eric Johnson, 34, threw a combined bachelor and bachelorette party in West Hollywood over the weekend.
Breaking tradition, the loved-up duo, who are set to marrynext month, ditched plans for individual parties and celebrated their final few weeks as singles with a huge pre-wedding bash with friends and family.
Guests joined the happy couple for dinner at Eveleigh restaurant on Sunset Boulevard where they were treated to canapés and cocktails before hitting up popular nightclub Warwick for more drinks and dancing.
“They didn’t want a traditional bachelor-bachelorette where they go off and do their own thing, because our group of friends is so close we just wanted to all be together,” Jess’s bridesmaid Stephanie Terblanch told People.
“This is what we would do anyway. We would all go out, and I think that this speaks for the group. If we are not going to be at someone’s house hanging out playing beer pong, this is the closest thing to it.”
Witnesses said everyone looked to be having a great time and there was plenty of free flowing alcohol.
“They were having a great time. Jessica looked absolutely amazing- and tiny,” a fellow partygoer says,
“There was a lot of vodka…and they had champagne for toasts, too.
“Jessica looked very cute sitting next to Eric. He had his arm around her shoulders, and I saw them kiss.”
Wearing a sassy black low cut dress, the bride-to-be showed off her slim figure and cleavage much to the delight of her future husband.
The pair who have been engaged since 2010 and share two children together, Maxwell, 2, and Ace, 12 months are set to say their ‘I do’s on July 4.
