And now the girl from Darwin is celebrating her 25th birthday on the world stage in front of a televised audience of one billion people as she performs at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games.

Since her appearance onAustralian Idolin 2006 where she came runner-up, Jess has grown to ever more amazing heights.
As well as being a musical success on the ARIA charts, she has launched a film career starring in the internationally acclaimed The Sapphires, and represented Australia for our first ever appearance as special guests at this year’s Eurovision Awards.

She’s bagged two ARIAs and an AACTA award, and rubbed shoulders with royalty and now she’s performing for the biggest audience of her life.
