Taking to Instagram, the 34-year-old’s long-time boyfriend Jake Holly announced he was leaving Sydney – where the couple currently live – for the US, where he plans to “recalibrate, create and spend time with some besties”.

The photographer titled the social media announcement a “life update” and thanked those who had been there for him during “this hectic time”.

Jake has been an influential figure in Jess’ life since they started dating in late 2017, with the pair attending Hillsong services together and even sparking rumours they’d secretly tied the knot.

Over the years, Jess, who shares seven-year-old daughter Scout with her ex-fiance, Home And Away’s James Stewart, has been open about her mental health struggles, admitting she has had “bipolar episodes” since she was 12.
