Jessica Marais has been pictured for the first time since she was reportedly taken to hospital in a “distressed state” on Saturday May 2.
On Monday evening, Jess’ good friend and former Packed To The Rafters co-star Hugh Sheridan shared a series of photos showing the pair hanging out earlier that day, revealing they enjoyed a mediation session together.
“Counting my blessings having spent the day with two of my best friends. Two very strong, talented and brave Australian women. First was a step challenge with Rebs at the opera house 🙂 and then meditation and a hug with my earth angel Jessie x I love you both beyond words,” Hugh explained, alongside a series of photos with actress Rebel Wilson and Jessica.
Jess’ on-off boyfriend Jake Holly commented under Hugh’s post with a simple love heart emoji.
While others sent their love and well-wishes to Jess.
“Give a huge cuddle to Jessica she’s in my prayers. Mental health does not discriminate I should know,” one person wrote.
“Love you all & especially wishing love and light to Jess right now,” another wrote.
“I hope jess is ok x,” a third added.

According the the Daily Telegraph, the Logie award-winning actress was rushed to hospital on Saturday after police and paramedics were called to her residence in the eastern suburbs following reports she was in a “poor state.”
The 35-year-old was taken to the emergency department of the RPA Hospital in Randwick and was examined.
In February, the mother-of-one made the shock announcement she would be pulling out of the highly anticipated Packed To The Rafters reboot, Back To The Rafters, citing “personal reasons.”
“Jessica Marais has decided to step away from the new series Back To The Rafters for personal reasons. She thanks everyone involved on the show for their ongoing support and love, especially her ‘Rafter’s family’, and sends them her very best wishes for the production,” the statement read at the time.
Jessica’s character Rachel Rafter will now be played by Georgina Haig.
In 2018, Jessica took a break from acting following her struggle with mental health issues, dropping out of that year’s TV WEEK Logie Awards despite being nominated for a Gold Logie and Most Popular Actress and the Nine Network’s production of Bad Mothers. She was later replaced by Tess Haubrich.
Hugh and Jess have been good friends since working together on Packed To The Rafters.

“There’s a history of bipolar in my family and I was diagnosed at one point with bipolar,” she explained.
“I’ve had cognitive therapy training, so I choose not to be medicated.”
She added: “I have developed ways to talk myself down from any ledges I find myself on.”
