Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald have chosen a name for their little bundle of joy – Spurgeon Elliot Seewald.
The couple’s first child’s name comes from Charles Spurgeon, a British preacher who lived from 1834 – 1892 and who also happens to be one of Ben’s personal heroes.
Speaking to PEOPLE as the couple were still choosing a name, Ben, 20 and Jessa, 23, revealed they favoured names of “heroes from the Christian faith.”
“We want to give him a strong name, with a lot of meaning,” Jessa explain.
“He is going to have this name for the rest of his life,” Ben added.
During her pregnancy, Jessa solicited name ideas from fans, with more than 100, 000 people sending in their choices.
