The 52-year-old shared the video to Instagram on Tuesday afternoon, offering her words of wisdom to her younger self.

โ€œMy darling girl, life will change. It is not going to stay the same. Even though it feels like youโ€™re stuck,โ€ said Rowe.

โ€œYour terrible skin โ€“ it will clear up. I promise you that. It doesnโ€™t matter that you donโ€™t understand physics. Youโ€™re never going to understand it and it is very boring. No one is going to ask you about the marks that you got at school. It doesnโ€™t matter,โ€ she continued.

โ€œThere will be some pretty exciting things that will happen for you.โ€

Touching on her over 20 year career in television, Rowe told her teenage self, โ€œYou are going to travel. Youโ€™re going to spread your wings and have the most extraordinary adventures. You wonโ€™t be a foreign correspondent, but there will be some pretty exciting things that will happen for you.โ€

โ€œYouโ€™re going to kiss a lot of frogs. Theyโ€™ll break your heart, but youโ€™re going to find the right person for you.โ€

For Rowe, the right person came in the form of Nine News presenter Peter Overton. The couple married in 2004, with Rowe regularly entertaining fans with inside looks at her family fun, as well as her escapades as a โ€œcrap housewife.โ€

Rowe has been consistently candid with her experiences of motherhood, sharing her struggles with postnatal depression.

The author previously spoke to Now To Love about her experience as a mum of two teenage girls.

โ€œBeing a parent, Iโ€™m learning, itโ€™s a series of letting goโ€™s. Each stage from when theyโ€™re born. Crawling, taking their first steps, going to daycare, going to school, having sleepovers, going to high school. All these things โ€ฆ itโ€™s all this series of letting goโ€™s.โ€

โ€œThat made me cry and laugh. I think we can all relate to this. Chase joy โ€“ sums it up beautifully,โ€ added another.

Although Rowe offered her younger self a number of handy tips, her overall takeaway was a heartwarming messaged to โ€œchase the life, my darling girl, [thatโ€™s] full of joy.โ€
