Mother’s Day is still a few weeks away but Jesinta Franklin has kicked off the celebrations slightly early with a heartfelt post dedicated to her mum, Valerie.
Honestly, we don’t blame her – our mums deserve this level of praise each and every day.
Taking to Instagram the model shared gorgeous images from a shoot with Aveda where she called her mum being her original “influencer” and inspiration.
“My mum is my original influencer, the woman who taught me everything I know about beauty and beyond,” Jesinta began.
“Throughout the years my rituals have been instilled by her; she knows a lot about true beauty and has taught me that is the way you hold yourself, the way you treat others, how you treat yourself, the way you love and how you give back. ❤”
The 29-year-old went on to add more stunning photographs to her Instagram stories with the captions: “‘If I know what love is… It’s because of you.”
Jesinta is now a mum herself.
(Instagram)At the request of followers’ queries Jesinta revealed both herself and Valerie were wearing gowns by Australian brand Aje.
Both emerald green numbers, Valerie’s a silk linen shirt dress and Jesinta’s floral cowl neck maxi, are part of the brand’s pre-Fall collection.
Just this week the mother-of-two shared an update on her postpartum journey following the recent birth of son, Rocky, in March.
Jesinta welcomed her second child in March.
(Instagram)Taking to Instagram Jesinta shared a photo holding her baby in a carrier with another woman beside her, explaining in the caption: “‘Mothers need just as much nurturing, love & care as a newborn, because they too have just been born.’ Grateful to have @upliftedcollective, my post partum doula, by my side during this special time.”
Jesinta has two kids under two, also sharing daughter Tullulah with husband and AFL star Buddy Franklin.
