Jennifer Lopez treats Leah Remini to a home-cooked feast ahead of Scientology book launch

Jennifer Lopez proves she’s still Jenny from the block as she cooks up a home-cooked Puerto Rican feast her friend Leah Remini ahead of one the most controversial book launches ever.

The 45-year-old was treated to a delicious home-cooked Puerto Rican meal from her longtime friend, Jennifer Lopez, on Monday – one day before her book Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology.

Of course, the King of Queens star took to Instagram to share the sweet bonding moment.

“My cute girl @jlo making us dinner #boricua #NYLACrew,” Leah captioned the video on Instagram.

The 46-year-old singer looked fabulous, make-up free and fresh-faced, donning a black and white knitted sweater.

In the short clip above, Jennifer is seen adding adobo seasoning to her tradition Puerto Rician chiken stew, known as pollo guisado.

“Here’s my girl, making some Puerto Rican food for everybody,” Leah is heard saying, while recording the clip.

While Jlo is heard laughing and saying “Be quiet!”, Leah adds, “Just a normal Puerto Rican girl at home cooking a meal.”

Leah and Jennifer have been best friends for over a decade, with Leah even writing about the singer in her new book.

Leah’s explosive new tell-all: Troublemaker.

She recently claimed Scientology asked her to invite Jennifer Lopez to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes‘ 2006 wedding.

“They were trying to extract me,” she said of the wedding during a 20/20 interview.

“I can only assume because they wanted to make Jennifer a Scientologist. Maybe I was barring that road for them.”
