Jennifer Lawrence had to be whisked away by her bodyguards and rushed to safety after a meet and greet with fans in New York turned into chaos!
The actress was at a taping for the Late Show with David Letterman to promote The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1 on Monday, when she headed outside the studio to sign autographs for the hundreds of fans eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of the star.
Sporting a dark blazer and stiletto’s to match, the 24-year-old Oscar-winning actress was photographed lunging in to the arms of her strong and well-built bodyguard just moments after the crowd barrier holding back admirers appears to come crashing down.
Not taking any chances, a visably rattled and scared J-Law is at one point seen attempting to shield herself from any possible danger by clinging onto her bodyguard before breaking free and running back to her car which was waiting just a few meters away.
Earlier, the young actress had arrived looking red hot in a mini dress, dark blazer and sunglasses.
While what exactly happened is not known at this stage, thankfully the blonde beauty wasn’t injured and was later seen visiting close pal, Emma Stone at the Broadway theatre ‘Cabaret.’
