Canadian fashion magazine Flare has come under fire for altering Jennifer Lawrence’s body shape with the Hunger Games star appearing noticeably thinner on a cover image from 2011.
A before and after image has surfaced showing the star had been slimmed down and smoothed over between the time the photograph was taken and the magazine hit stands.
The Oscar-winning actress spoke openly about her body image in an interview published in the same issue, and said she wanted to look like “a real person”.
Lawrence isn’t the first star to be airbushed – these celebs have all been nipped, tucked, slimmed and smoothed by heavy-handed retouchers.
