Jennifer Hawkins has married Jake Wall in a lavish ceremony in Bali.
The former Miss Universe tied the knot in front of 50 friends and family member in a pavilion overlooking the ocean at luxury cliff-top resort Semara in Uluwatu.
The bride wore a white strapless ball gown with a meringue skirt, long train and full veil.
Her blonde hair was worn down, cascading over her tanned shoulders, while groom Jake chose a black suit.
Two bridesmaids — dressed in pale pink — attended Jennifer, while two groomsmen in dark suits shadowed Jake.
After the ceremony, guests celebrated the new couple at an all-white reception held in a nearby marquee.
Jennifer and Jake, a builder, met eight years ago in a Newcastle nightclub.
Jake proposed while the couple were on holiday in New Zealand 18 months ago.
The nuptials were the subject of a fierce bidding war between New Idea and Woman’s Day for exclusive rights to the images.
Woman’s Day won, and will publish a special wedding issue on Friday (on the East Coast of Australian, Monday for all other regions).
“These are some of the most amazing wedding pictures we have ever seen, with an amazing dress, a breathtaking cliff-top location, 3000 fairy lights and no less than 20,000 flowers, Jen and Jake had the ultimate magical wedding,” Woman’s Day editor Fiona Connolly said.
“I can say without any hesitation, this was definitely THE wedding of the year! The ceremony was so lavish, it’s a feast for the eyes and our readers will devour every single image!”
