For some people Bachelor in Paradise is a reality TV dream come true – all your fave stars from past seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette getting a second chance at love while the cameras broadcast it all into our living rooms.
Jen Hawke, one of our favourite former Matty J Bachelor contestants, seems to be watching the series with a healthy dose of scepticism, recapping each episode on her Instagram stories under a series she’s called, “#will you accept this roast’, and her revelations have us in stitches.
After all, as she says herself, Jen has “a little bit of insight and knowledge when it comes to these people” and she’s “about to get SAVAGE”.
“Fun fact, people with the name Blake tend to be douche bags”
Following a soundbite of Lisa Hyde taking a not-so-subtle swipe at her “ex” Blake Garvey in the first episode, Jen shares a ‘fun fact’ or two about another Blake. Her ex, Blake Coleman from Sophie’s season of the Bachelorette.
“Urgh, I just threw up.. in my mouth a little bit..” she jokes as Blake appears on screen.
“Because you do, babe”
Leah Costa, the ‘villain’ from Matty J’s season of The Bachelor, wears an Instagram “Queen” stamp as a badge of honour in Jen’s recaps.
“Everyone thinks I love trouble,” the soundbite of Leah says.
“Because you do, babe, you do,” scoffs Jen.
Her mind was BLOWN by the contestants
“My mind is blown. You’ve got Davey, Flo, then you’ve got Leah, then you’ve got Jake… I don’t know what’s happening but this is SO good to watch. I can’t wait till they introduce some new characters.”
