It was a far cry from wedding number one, as Jennifer Aniston celebrated her upcoming nuptials to fiancé Justin Theroux with an understated, low-key bash on Sunday night.
Jen, whose fairytale wedding to Brad Pitt 12 years ago featured 50,000 roses, lashings of caviar and a fireworks display, opted for a very different style to celebrate her engagement to actor boyfriend Justin at the couple’s Beverly Hills home.
Despite a star-studded guestlist – including Ellen Degeneres and wife Portia DeRossi – the dress-code was casual with many opting for jeans, checked shirts and winter woolies.
Demi Moore and Ben Stiller were seen driving themselves to the party, and Tobey Maquire made an appearance in a casual shirt and trousers with wife Jennifer Meyer and six-year-old daughter Ruby at his side.
Certainly the vibe of the party was in keeping with Jen and Justin’s understated style, with 43-year-old Jen adopting a more laid-back attitude since hooking up with Justin.
The rom-com beauty, renowned for her immaculate dress-sense and red-carpet style, has adopted her fiance’s uniform of biker boots and jeans in recent months. And rumours are the couple’s 2013 wedding is set to follow in much the same flavour with Jen reportedly planning a far simpler ceremony this time round.
