The American actor revealed this morning in a heartfelt Instagram post that he and his wife of six years welcomed their fourth happy and healthy baby into the world on March 23.
“Happy to share that two days ago, Kimberly and I were lucky enough to welcome a little baby girl into the world,” the actor, 39, penned to his 161,000 followers, before revealing her sweet name, “Emilia Van Der Beek”.
The couple’s children Olivia, five, Joshua, four, and Annabel, two, were pictured admiring their newborn sister.
“Crazy how deeply in love you can fall with someone you just met,” the father-of-four later Tweeted of his darling new daughter.
The new addition to the family joins her two sisters, five-year-old Olivia, and two-year-old Annabel, as well as a four-year-old brother Joshua. Who may or may not be named after James’ on-screen best friend, Pacey who was played by Joshua Jackson.
The arrival of baby Emilia marks the 6th baby to come out from Dawson’s Creek cast, with Michelle Williams’ daughter Matilda as the eldest at age 10.
