Mariah Carey and fiancé James Packer are marking their engagement milestone by moving into a $US250,000 a month mansion in the elite community of the Oaks in Calabasas, California, reports the New York Post.
The couple, who reportedly got engaged last week after James proposed with a 35-carat diamond ring, are splashing out on the 18,000-square-foot home that features a movie theatre, gym and spa and sits on 1 acre – reportedly perfect for Mariah’s 4-year-old twins: Son Moroccan and daughter Monroe and James’ three children with Erica Packer, Indigo Packer, 7, Jackson Packer, 5 and Emmanuelle Packer, 3.
Carey, 45, will move into palatal home inside the luxury double gated community but will have to finalise her divorce from her ex, Nick Cannon before she can say ‘I do’ to James, 48.
The Grammy-winning singer’s lavish lifestyle made headlines earlier this week when her two dogs, Jack Russells Cha Cha and Jill E Bean, flew first class on American Airlines on Monday from Aspen, Colorado – a luxury that reportedly set her back $2000 USD, a source told the Daily Mail.
No date for James and Mariah’s wedding has been reported yet.
