And while the touching moment is a beautiful tribute to her childhood BFF Britany Maack, it’s hard not to notice the sparkly gold bang sitting pretty on Swifty’s engagement finger.
There it is! The gold band sat in plain sight as Taylor toasted to her best friend’s happiness at her wedding last week.
“He would chase her and pursue her through middle school and junior high and high school, and their paths would diverge, and then come back together,” Taylor recalled in her reminiscent speech.
“It would be so magically unpredictable, but at the same time, so incredibly fated just like the best love stories are.”
Now, reports all over Tinseltown are speculating that perhaps the 26-year-old’s boyfriend Calvin Harris may have secretly popped the question some time before the February wedding.
While the Bad Blood singer is yet to comment on the claims, the ring was absent from her finger when she stepped out on Sunday night for the Oscars after party.

The news of an engagement between the two wouldn’t come as a huge surprise, as recent reports out the US have claimed the pair have been taking big steps towards their ever-evolving relationship, with a source close to the couple claiming that the two have indeed moved in together.
“Now that her tour is over, they are living together at his house in Beverly Hills while she is having some work done on her new home,” the insider told E! News.
“They are definitely talking about their future together and the possibility of one day getting engaged,” the source added.
The power couple walked hand-in-hand around the streets of NYC in May 2015.
“Making it work, despite their huge demanding schedules, and her tour, has proved to both of them that this is something that is serious and that could last. It’s really cemented their commitment to one another.”
Calvin, 32, met Taylor just over a year ago at the ELLE Style Awards in London, and it wasn’t long after that the two went public.
Last year, they were named by Forbes as the highest paid celebrity couple with a combined worth of $USD146 million, overtaking the married musical duo Beyoncé and Jay-Z by over $30 million.
