Is a royal temper tantrum brewing in Kensington Palace?
Prince William revealed that his son, Prince George might be a little jealous after his dad met one of his favourite characters, Paddington Bear.
The cute encounter unfolded today when the Duke of Cambridge attended a British film event whilst on a solo tour in China, which was also attended by Chinese film stars. William gamely played along and shook Paddington’s paw, and even posed for a few (maybe, slightly awkward) pictures with the life-sized bear.
The Prince, who is expecting his second child with the Duchess of Cambrige, née Kate Middleton, in April, joked to reporters present that his one-year-old son George would be envious of his meeting with Paddington as he is the star of one of his favourite books. George is a big fan of cuddly creatures, his first birthday party was Peter Rabbit themed!
William is on a tour of China to promote business relations between the UK and China, next on his itinerary is the Yunnan Province, where he will visit an elephant sanctuary and nature reserve to promote fighting illegal wildlife trade, before reportedly returning to England to be with Kate and George before the birth of the new Prince or Princess.
Prince William looks adorably awkward as he poses next to Paddington Bear.
In true Paddington fashion, the bear shook the Prince’s hand and bowd respectfully.
Then they posed for some shots together.
They make a cute pair!
Prince William was on hand to attend a British film festival in China, where he is currently touring.
