The glowing mum-to-be was joined by friends and family at her manager’s home in West Hollywood.
And it’s one guest’s gift that has perhaps given away the bub’s gender! Matthew McConaughey’s wife Camila Alves arrived at the shower holding a very pink present. Hmm!
Meanwhile other guests gifted her with gender-neutral packages, with many monogrammed with the letter “G.”
Presents included a rocking horse, baby blankets, a bassinet and clothing from ritzy children’s boutiques.
“Anne was showered with gifts and love at a baby celebration,” a source told People of the exciting celebration.
The insider added: “She looked great. Guests enjoyed lunch outside and everyone seemed to have fun. Adam showed up to help bring all the gifts home. Both Anne and Adam seem very excited about the baby.”
Hint, hint… Is this dress a clue?
Following the celebration, the actress’ friend Jenny Lewis shared a snap of Anne sporting a bright pink dress.
Expected to give birth in May, this is the first child for the 33-year-old and her husband Adam, who tied the knot in September 2012 in California, after dating for more than four years.
“I’m the only one who’s not a mother,” she admitted back in 2012 to The Hollywood Reporter. “I hope to join the ranks soon. I really want to have a baby.”
