Victoria Beckham has spilt the beans about how she lip-synced during her spice Girls days.
The fashion designer, formally known as Posh Spice, said the decision to not sing live was out of her hands.
“They used to turn it off and just let the others sing,” the singer-turned-fashion designer told The Telegraph when she attended the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in London on Thursday.
But the 42-year-old quipped:
“I got the last laugh – and now my mic is well and truly on, finally.”
And Victoria she said she found a way to stand out.
“Luckily because I used to wear heels, I just used to jig about a bit and I got away with it but it never came easily,” she said. “I was always much more reserved than the other girls.”
