Hugh Jackman says he’s not his wife’s “type” in a new interview, claiming that in fact Deborra-Lee prefers the “bad boys”.
“I’m really not my wife’s type,” Hugh told the Kyle & Jackie O Show on KIISFM.
Hugh, 46 and Deb, have been together for nearly 20 years but he revealed that originally she preferred a different kind of bloke to clean-cut Hugh.
“She likes the bad boys!” he laughed on air.
Of course, Hugh originally looked a bit like a bad boy when the couple first met on the set of Australian prison drama, Corelli, in 1995.
“It’s lucky that I met her on this prison drama [Correlli] where I had tatts and the whole thing,” Hugh said.
Hugh of course also famously sported a rather dodgy mullet for the 90s TV series, which he once again recreated for his role in his latest big movie, Chappie.
