Hugh Jackman has skin cancer removed

Hugh Jackman has been treated for skin cancer again stepping out on the red carpet wearing a small bandage.

It is the second time the Australian star and Hollywood darling has undergone treatment for basal-cell carcinoma, a form of skin cancer, having cancerous cells removed.

Wearing a bandage on the side of his nose, Hugh made an appearance at the New York premiere of X-Men: Days of Future Past. He was reported as being in good spirits about his prognosis, saying “It’s all out now.”

The 45-year-old father-of-two is urging people to be vigilant with check-ups and always wear sunscreen and thanked his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, for insisting that he seek medical attention.

Hugh also thanked the surgeons who carried out the late-night operation, writing on his Twitter page, “Huge thanks to Dr. Arian and Dr. Born for operating on my nose until 10:20pm! #SUNSCREEN”.
