In a world of Donald Trump and an ever-increasingly depressing news cycle, Hugh Jackman and Deborrah-Lee Furness‘ post-Christmas visit to the zoo is exactly what we all need in our lives.
The Australian royal couple are home for the holidays and in between promoting The Greatest Showman, trips to Bondi beach and going to watch the cricket, they’ve also squeezed in a good ol’ fashioned day at the zoo, visiting Healesville Sanctuary in Badger Creek.
And while, sure, this isn’t any kind of hard-hitting, world-changing news, we feel that the photos just really need to be seen. Because – CUTE!
Gem the wombat + Hugh and Deb? That’s some guaranteed joy, right there.
Gem was welcomed to Zoos Victoria after being found at the side of the road in June this year. And now she’s rubbing shoulders with the A-List – who’d have thunk it! How far she’s come.
Here’s some more festive joy from Hugh and Deb’s trip home to Australia. Because, let’s be honest, there really is no such thing as too much Hugh.
