The fashionista holds nothing back in her new book, Going Off Script: How I Survived a Crazy Childhood, Cancer, and Clooney’s 32 On-Screen Rejections. Giuliana opened up about what ultimately ended her relationship with actor, Jerry O’Connell.
Page Six shared a snippet from her book detailed the doomed relationship, explaining that she dated Jerry after meeting him at the W Hotel in San Diego. She claim that further into their relationship he cheated on her with Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, aka Ginger Spice.
“I was being two-timed for one of the lesser Spices?” Giuliana wrote in her book (via Page Six).
The now happily married mum-of-one recalls confronting him about the affair.
“‘Yeah, I know. I’m so sorry. I don’t know what happened,'” she quotes him as saying, adding, “He had as much emotion as the customer-service representative who tells you your bags missed the flight.”
The pair managed to get past their differences and get back together. Unfortunately it was short-lived.
Despite discussing marriage with Giuliana, whilst attending Maxim’s 100 Hottest Women party in 2004, Jerry stumbled across his future wife, Rebecca Romijn.
“Little did I know he was in the VIP area, talking up Rebecca,” Giuliana shared in her book.
“As a prelude to feeling up Rebecca.”
Days later Jerry ended the relationship.
“‘Nope. Sorry, homegirl,'” she recalled. “‘Things change, but you take care, okay?'”
Both bounced back from the break up with Giuliana happily married to Bill Rancic, who she married in 2007. The couple are parents to their son, Edward Duke. Jerry also tied the knot in 2007, to Rebecca Romijn. The pair welcomed twin daughters Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip the following year.
