Young Home and Away actress Olivia Deeble has been rushed to hospital with brain swelling after sustaining a head injury.
In an Instagram post this week, the 16-year-old shared a confronting picture of herself sleeping in a hospital bed, writing: “Hey guys, a couple of days ago I hit my head and was concussed with brain swelling.
“I’m fairly crook at the moment and have been to hospital a couple of times but slowly improving.”
The actress who plays Raffy Morrison on the TV show said she was sleeping for 12 hours a day to recover.
“But wanted to let you all know I’m still here and am trying to get better as soon as possible ❤️ thanks for the constant support love you all lots x.”

Her Home and Away co-stars also shared their well-wishes with the actress. Georgie Parker, who plays Roo on the show, wrote: “Please take your time getting back into everything. Love you sweetheart.”
Penny McNamee, who play’s Deeble’s on-screen sister also wrote a sweet message: “Sending lots of love and love healing vibes beautiful.”
Deeble has garnered a strong fan base since joining the cast of the popular Aussie drama in 2016. Her Instagram has a following of more than 170,000 who actively engage with her posts.
Acting was always on the cards for the young actress – she’s the granddaughter of The Sullivans’ Reg Gorman, while her mum, Kate Gorman, was an actress on Neighbours.
