The actor confirmed the news to the Perth supplement magazine AAA Weekend.
“No we’re not (together). It’s pretty recent, still fresh,” the Western Australian actor admitted yesterday.
Nic, who became a household name playing Kyle Braxton on Home and Away, confirmed to Woman’s Day he met the brunette beauty on the dating app, Tinder.
“It was a bit hard meeting people out, so my mates pushed me to do it,” the actor mused at the time.
Things were heating up between the pair after Nic introduced his girlfriend to his parents over Christmas.
But friends close to Nic raised concerns that his new squeeze, who has over 21,000 Instagram followers, was trying to build her profile through her famous boyfriend.
Both Nic and Shenae hinted that they’d parted ways through their social media activity, with neither of them sharing snaps together since mid April.
Since the breakup, Shenae now describes herself as “beauty and lifestyle blogger”, and has launched her own YouTube channel of beauty tutorials.
