He’s only just turned 17 but already he makes more money in one year than most of us are likely to earn in our entire lives!
Angus T. Jones, who plays Jake in top-rating comedy series Two And A Half Men, has just signed a new contract that will see him receive $300,000 per episode for the next two years. At an extra $50,000 for each of 48 episodes, the young actor has increased his pay by $240,000 – plus scoring a $500,000 “signing bonus”.
While it’s peanuts compared to the show’s star Charlie Sheen, who has just signed a two-season contract for $52 million, and is likely to bank $98 million including bonuses, it’s a big step up from this season’s wage of $250,000 an episode. And a giant leap from the $2900 he got in June for a one-week stint playing “obnoxious new kid” TJ on the teen show Hannah Montana.
