If Hillary Clinton ends up running for president again she’s made it clear she wants Katy Perry to pen her campaign song.
The pop star met the former Secretary of State at a book signing in New York for Clinton’s memoir Hard Choices and afterward Perry excitedly tweeted about the encounter.
“I told (Hillary Clinton) that I would write her a ‘theme’ song if she needs it,” Perry, 29, wrote Friday on Instagram, sharing a photo of them posing with the book.
In response the 66-year-old accepted Perry’s offer by tweeting: “@Katyperry Well that’s not a Hard Choice,” she wrote. “You already did! Keep letting us hear you Roar.”
While a tune by Katy may be a great choice considering the 29-year-old has sold over 81-million albums worldwide there are some other anthems Clinton could march into the White House with.

What Katy Perry’s Roar film clip could have looked like.
While Clinton might like Perry’s Roar perhaps the singer’s hit Firework could be a good option.
Another fitting tune for a presidential candidate is Beyoncé’s Run the world (Girls).
But what about when Beyoncé and the rest of Destiny’s Child was still singing about Bills, Bills, Bills – surely that’s in with a shot?
Then again Martine McBride’s This One’s For the Girls could swing the female vote.
Rihanna’s Take A Bow may be nice for a victory lap should Clinton win.
Shania Twain’s Man, I Feel Like a Woman would really stick it to her male opponents.
“I wannabe president!” are the words so many people want Hillary to once again utter and what better backing track than the Spice Girls!
The again you have to R-E-S-P-E-C-T a candidate who loves the soulful sound of Aretha Franklin.
