The 68-year-old plays Madame Mallory – a chef at a Michelin-starred restaurant in the south of France, who holds her staff and kitchen to high standards.
The film, which is produced by Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey, is based on the novel by Richard C. Morais and follows the story of an Indian family who move to France and open a restaurant across the street.
According to The New York Post, The Hundred Foot Journey will open in cinemas in August.
