Having been in the business since her early 20s, Helen didn’t experience true fame until her early 40s, and 30 years later she is going stronger than ever.

With two new films to promote Trumbo and Eye in the Sky, and a contract as one of the UK faces of L’Oreal it doesn’t appear that Helen plans to slow down any time soon.

Sharing her ideas on beauty and love, Helen also has sage advice for young women wishing to follow in her footsteps and become strong, independent and happy.

“I think, really, the most important thing to me is financial independence. Don’t spend your money on handbags, put it in a savings account.”
