Baby Speidi has arrived!
The Hills couple, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have announced the safe arrival of their first child, a boy named Gunner Stone on October 1.
He was born at 3:06pm and the bub is already taking after his mum and dad with blonde hair and gorgeous blue eyes.
“Heidi and Spencer are proud parents of a healthy baby boy as of this afternoon,” the couple’s rep exclusively tells US Weekly.
“We are so blessed,” Heidi added, before saying of labour: “It was the hardest and most rewarding experience.”
Meanwhile Spencer described seeing his son be born as “officially the most lit day of my life.”
Ha, classic Spencer!
So what’s the meaning behind the couple’s choice of name?
According to the world wide web, Gunner is of Swedish origin, and has a variety of meanings, including battle strong and warrior.
And one particular baby site even claims that kids given the moniker generally turn out to have “a deep inner desire to lead, organise, supervise, and to achieve status, power and wealth.”
Yep, pretty much perfect for a son of Speidi!
Meanwhile, the couple revealed in August that they’d already settled on the name, but were keeping it secret.
“We have a name as of right now, so that’s exciting,” Heidi shared.
“It’s very original.”
“I definitely wanted Speidi. At least a middle name!” Spencer added.
The reality TV lovers began dating in 2006 before marrying in November 2008.
