Supermodel Heidi Klum is back on the singles’ market.
The 40-year-old split from her bodyguard boyfriend, Martin Kirsten, 41, a few weeks ago, People has confirmed.
The pair began dating not long after Heidi split from her husband Seal after seven years of marriage.
“Martin was there for her during a challenging time in her life and it was something she will always be grateful for,” a friend close to Heidi said.
Martin, who worked as Heidi’s bodyguard and was regularly photographed with her children, has now resigned.
“They are no longer working together,” another friend told the magazine.
“Life is about timing. He was incredibly supportive and they were there for each other, but they’re moving on now. They still have a great friendship.”
