Heidi Klum has listed for sale the epic estate that she bought and renovated with ex-husband Seal for a cool $25 million
Heidi Klum has listed her enormous LA estate for sale for an epic US $25 million – that’s $11 million more than what she and then husband Seal bought it for back in 2010.
Since purchasing the 12,300 sq foot, eight-bedroom, ten-bathroom Italian-villa themed property, Heidi has given the place a complete overhaul. Now it comes complete with matching his and hers walk-in wardrobes off the master suite, a private cinema, temperature-controlled wine cellar, and a special private dressing/styling room.
The grounds meanwhile are set on 8.5 acres and including a private golf-putting green, an Olympic size swimming pool, a formal rose garden lined with gazebos and perfectly manicured topiary as well as a playhouse and secret gardens and hiking trails for the kids.
Heidi said on the real estate site that upon initially setting eyes upon the place, it immediately reminded her of the South of France. She has since updated the interiors to match with the French theme, even including antique furnishing sourced from a hotel in Paris and also Napoleon’s country home in France.
After she renovated, Heidi says: “the house was as incredible as its grounds and views. Sometimes I sit in the garden, drinking my coffee, looking at the Pacific and really feel it is a little piece of heaven.”

The backyard features an Olympic sized infinity pool and spa.
We’d sure love to attend a pool party at this place!
The couch filled private home cinema or “media room” as it is named on the property listing.
The extensive grounds feature a koi pond and a formal rose garden as well as multiple fountains, lawns and gazebos.
It would take a team of gardeners to keep the impeccable grounds in their current condition.
The master suite also features “his and hers” custom walk-in wardrobes plus of course, “his and hers” bathrooms.
In addition to the formal gardens the 8.5 acre block of land also has plenty of secret gardens and hiking trails.
As well as being set amongst a guard gated community, the property is also protected by iron gates which open to a central motor court with a feature fountain in the centre.
The Italian-style villa was built in 1999 but despite being less than 15 years old, has already been given a complete overhaul by Heidi since 2010 when she first purchased the property with then-husband Seal.
Heidi said on the real estate website “Sometimes I sit in the garden, drinking my coffee, looking at the Pacific, and really feel it is a little piece of Heaven”. Ugh, stop Heidi! You’re killing us!
The interior of the mansion measures a total 12,300 sq feet and Heidi channelled a French theme when redecorating the interiors.
The house is well equipped for foodies too with an eat-in chef’s kitchen, butler’s pantry and a temperature-controlled wine cellar.
The home office looks out over one of the property’s countless patios and terraces.
As well as eight bedrooms, the property also has multiple living areas including a formal living room and formal dining room with wood panelling imported from a private dining room of a hotel in Paris.
The real estate listing states that the “high-ceilinged, perfectly proportioned rooms and hallways provide plenty of gallery-like wall space for art and photography”.
There is also a library with an “ornate ebonized wood bookcase that came from Napoleon’s country home in France”.
There are eight bedrooms in total in the property, including a professionally customized dressing/styling room. A must-have when you’re constantly getting dressed and preened for countless red-carpet events!
