In Touch Weekly claims that the fashion designer is unhappy in her relationship, with sources close to Nicole divulging that months of bitter arguments have finally taken its toll.
“Nicole recently met with one of LA’s most prominent divorce attorneys and is weighing up her options,” the source alleged to the US publication.
It is believed the fights are a result of their busy schedules and conflicting parenting styles to their two children, seven-year-old daughter Harlow and five-year-old son Sparrow.
Whispers of trouble have been swirling for some time, with another friend of the couple recently telling Radar Online: “Nicole and Joel are going through a very tough time right now and their friends do not think that their marriage is going to survive!”
“Joel is saying that he cannot take it anymore and that neither of them are happy when they are together.”
If the pair do indeed decide to part ways, things could get messy.
The LA Times reported that Nicole and Joel recently dropped a whopping $6.7 million on their dream home in Hollywood which boasts four bedrooms, three bathrooms and once belonged to Jack Nicholson.
We really hope the couple – who have pretty much become adopted Aussies thanks to Joel’s reoccurring stint on The Voice – can figure things out!
